7 months!

June got her first pedicure by Mimi...she is showing it off at Granny Curry's house!  What a face!

All of us at the Darlington reunion. It is so fun with all those crazy kids...they love each other so much! Eli told me today that he wants Ash and Kurt to come live with us so we can be together all the time.

Sweet heart posing with her Mimi

Wes casually mentioned to Eli that some people put things they want to hide, like money, in their sock drawer. This is what I found when folding clothes a few days later!

This girl loves the jumper. She loves to twirl around it in as much as she likes to jump though.

This was the last day of summer so I let Jay choose everything we did that day. He requested that we have a water balloon fight, watch Cars 2, play all of his favorite games, and then have frozen yogurt for dessert.

Trying out some sorbet...not too sure about it yet!

Ellie Grace and Gailey were perfect babysitters for June when we met them in St. Augustine. June loved it!

Aunt Gail, Eli, Judson, Ellie, June, Mom, Jay, and Gailey

June still loves the water!

Judson loved being the photographer with the water camera!

Throwing the football

Gailey swam all over that pool chasing his throws!
June passed out on the towel after her swim

pretty girl sitting on the beach now!

More fun with her Mimi

Gailey, Ellie, and Jay loved seeing all of the fish swimming in the waves...it had to have been thousands of fish...we were all amazed!

Aunt Charlene got to join us a lot too!

Eli and Judson were two peas in a pod

He was very proud we dug such a long tunnel

After supper the kids and I went on a walk. The girls had fun showing their skills. Ellie did handstands and cartwheels all the way down the beach! What a cheerleader!

Gailey said she didn't know if she could still do a back bend but she made it look easy

We were going to try hard to not get wet....that didn't work!

I know it was hard for the girls, Aunt Gail, and Uncle Cleveland too, missing Colton, and we pray for them all the time. Especially Clay and Gwin. It is unbelievable, and from our earthly view, so unfair, what they are going through. I know the girls were fighting sadness that week (and every week) but they laughed and played and helped everyone around them at every opportunity. They were just as kind and loving as they've always been. That family is such an example of faith and goodness. Colton will forever be missed but his loving spirit will live on through his sisters and I thank God for that.

Kissing on Granny Curry

Jay was so giddy starting 1st grade!  He loves his teacher, Mrs. Merritt. I hate that I didn't get a picture of them together on the first day...I was trying to keep Eli from running off and forgot!  That day Jay came home and said he wishes he could live at school!

Here he is getting his desk just right. He told me he loves 1st grade because "we don't have to read in 1st grade, we just do math all day and I am good at math!"  That boy still doesn't like to read but he is improving! And he's right, he is very good at math.

This was her first time in the cart at Lowes. She had so much fun!  She is a great shopping buddy now that she can sit up! And she charms everyone she passes by, of course!

After school Jay found some things in the yard that they needed to examine. After he looked at it all with a magnifying glass he said, "mom, pine cones aren't very interesting are they?"  haha!

So proud to be sitting up!  She doesn't need the boppy anymore though!

here is she showing off!

Jay is a mess

Silly girl talking to daddy!

I realized I hadn't taken a picture of her in her crib before. So I sneaked in and got one during nap time last week.

She loves this piano!

love that face

so fun!

I swear she knows exactly what I am doing when I put her in this chair for her monthly photo shoot. She immediately starts smiling and kicking.

Looking up at Daddy here

She loves the camera!

Playing with her tutu

So pretty! I love how happy she is!
