Springtime fun

Jay is flossing his teeth after eating some candy...Our pediatric dentist (and good friend) talked to his class that day so Jay couldn't wait to show me what he learned.

Notice Eli's hair style....Jay took the liberty to brush his hair that day

So happy to ride his bike on our walks now!

Fun day at the agirama!

This tire swing is so fun!

Riding on the train!

Since Jay smiled for the camera, I owed him a silly face

These boys are proud of their cool new tractor handed down from Brooks!

Jay is explaining that the police car had a crash and the tractor needs to pull it out. We tied a rope between them and he was so happy he saved it

Wes came to talk about eyes to Jay's class last month!

He was thrilled to have his daddy there

Here is Gracie playing with the fridge magnets

And playing police with Eli

She is so sweet and keeps up with these boys like a pro!

Happy boy as long as I give him candy while we wait for my car to be serviced.

Riding on the farm on Papa's bota-buggy!

We stopped to look at the cows and they all came running over...poor cows thought we had some food

Eli wanted us to go in and pet them...he would have had fun at Papa Flagler's back in the day!

We took the boys to Destin a few weeks ago and spent a lot of time in the heated pool since it was soooo cold outside!

Jay loved it, Eli just stayed on the sidelines

he gave Mimi a workout

Eli probably sat there watching for an hour or more.

Look at that face!  haha

Hey mama!

Eli started pushing Jay into the water and he perked up quickly!

Jay is waiting!

Look at that smile under the sippy cup...he was loving that

silly face for the camera!

We couldn't get Eli to jump to us though...he was just fine as an observer

playing on the beach...

The boys weren't phased by the cold but mom and I were cuddled in our towels the whole time

knocking over a sand castle

What a cutie

what a ham

Sand!

he tried so hard to catch the gulls

Nope, they got away again!

"bird??  where'd bird go??"

Jay was running around like crazy while Eli still searched for his bird

Love this one

Jay is dancing here

my serious boy coming back from his failed bird chase
Back at home burning some brush in the yard

Jay is a pro at this by now

Eli told us it was "too hot" and drove his car around most of the time

check out the "fire mask"

now that the flames are down Eli decides it is safe to come closer

Waving at us on a ride a Wild Adventures

Yay!

this is a sweet one too

Eli was saying cheese....that trick really doesn't produce a good smile...maybe we should just tell him to smile instead.

on the merry go round!

Weeee!

Jay loved feeding this bird

They waited for a while for more to land on their hands but we finally gave up, Jay would have sat there forever I think

Now to the butterflies!

We ran into one of Jay's school friends so they had a few races on the slide

sporting their new sun glasses...Eli is pretty sure he knows what he's doing.

Jay and his buddy, Max at t-ball practice. We were friends with his parents in macon (pre-kids) and they moved to Tifton a few years ago. We have loved spending time with them again and Jay loves Max. They have twin girls who are a little older than Eli so we have some fun playdates.

We found a stick during our walk...nothing is too big for this boy!

Big boy on his bike

Jay's team getting ready for their first game!
Jay was first up to bat and did a great job!

here he comes!

yay!

marching...he did this last year too. I guess it's how he stays ready to run

Jay walked up to the Coaches wife during the last game that told her that he is so glad there are no girls on our team because girls aren't as strong as boys and they don't like to play in the dirt. We happen to be the only one without girls so I guess Jay noticed...and was pleased. haha

no play is complete without a slide

Eli thinks it's his turn to bat

Wes, Lynn, Tim, Carrie, and Mom watching the action

Jay is learning how to drive a mule at the Agirama

Cheesing for me after cupcakes

The day we broke it to Jay that he had to start wearing a helmet. Obviously he was not happy....he finally got over it about half way through the walk.

I was folding clothes and Eli plopped into one of the recycling baskets....he is such a goof

This was so funny....Wes and I were waiting for our flight out of the Valdosta airport and my Aunt Kay (Darlington family) walked in! We were on the same flight to Atlanta. What a fun surprise!

Jay says he is going to be a paleontologist so when he uncovered this rock he ran to get a brush to clean it off

he said we had to be very careful not to break it because it is very old

Eli helping mow the yard. This boy has it easy!  When Jay was his age he had to help daddy push mow the yard. Thankfully, our generous neighbor lets Wes use his riding mower so he doesn't have to push mow this giant yard!
