June turns 8 months! Eli's first broken arm!

Eli had to teach June about tent fun in the living room!

Eating lunch with Jay at school. He brought a friend to sit with us also.

We went with some friends to the beach for the weekend. The glow sticks were a hit!

Eli is, of course, using it as a gun

We had 9 adults and 13 kids...it was crazy!  but so fun!

That boy refuses to pose "nicely" for a camera

Here is Jay and his teacher, Mrs. Merritt. We love her so much!

June is having fun going through the mail

I texted this to Wes explaining why he wouldn't be able to look through his bass pro magazine when he got home.

Mimi and her grands on her birthday weekend!  The big 60!

It was impossible to get them all to look and smile at the same time!!!

Fun in the water!

I love these next few. It shows how much Jay and Gracie love each other!

June had to cheeze too

The boys racing down the slide at Wild Adventures. I asked if they'd rather ride with me or Dad. Both of them yelled "Daddy!" without a thought. He is the "fun" one I guess.

Trying to talk to the bear!

Riding the carousel with my big 6 year old. He is growing so fast!

Waiting in line

These are all out of order. But here Eli is resting on Papa before going back to the OR. Love this!

This is coming out of anesthesia. He was not a happy "waker upper"!  He screamed for 20min...I felt bad for all of the other patients who were also feeling horrible and trying to wake up.

The next day I took him to Chick-Fil-A...he got whatever he wanted for a few days! haha

Visiting with Granny Curry!  June is such a camera hog!

She finally gave it up and took a nap with Ellie Grace!

Pretty girl watching Mama Ross sing in church.

She is getting hard to keep quiet during the service. Jay is such a good helper. And that shoe is a good chew toy!

I discovered that she loves the swing!  Easy entertainment while the boys are running off some energy.

Here are two of Eli's sweet friends, Marlee and Aden!

8 months!  Again, she knows to start cheesing as soon as I put her in the chair! She is still so happy and social!  She scoots backwards but doesn't crawl yet even though she wants to SO bad!  It is coming soon!  She is 17 1/2 lbs. She claps, waves, says "bye-bye", and gets up into a sitting position. Mama Ross heard her say "mama" the other day. She said it was so clear over the monitor. yay! This is such a fun stage!

love that face

back to the broken arm. This was in the ER that night. He was such a trooper!

Ouch!  Greenstick fracture to right ulna. Radius slightly curved. Dr. Banks did a closed reduction and then casted it.

About to go to sleep... He was charming all of the hospital staff!

Wes took this while Eli was waking up. This was a calm moment.

As soon as he got home he ate chicken nuggets and started wrestling with Jay on the floor. That boy wasn't phased!  They said no "rough play" for 2 days... Eli did not follow that very well.

Back at the beach...playing with all of our friends. Those kids at the best time together!

Riding the bees!

The night he came home from the ER in a splint. Jay was so worried. He couldn't wait to check everything out as soon as Eli walked in. Lesson learned: Don't jump off a see saw when it is up high, or better yet, don't jump off of it at all!

Waiting to go back to the OR....he is so cute! He has been the best patient. Other than right when it happened, he has not complained. He was so calm and sweet at the hospital and loves telling people all around town the story of how he broke his arm. I have been amazed at his "matter-of-fact" attitude. Again, he is his father's son!  No drama, just deals with things as they come. :)
