Fall Fun

Jay at flag football practice

This was his first time and he loved it. He was one of the oldest on the team and it showed. He made several touchdowns and was a great blocker.

There he goes!

I noticed he was also a great sport when he or the other players were knocked down. I was so happy to see that because, with Eli, he is the opposite!  There were several times I saw him help someone up or tell them he's sorry if they fell.

Little brother rolling around in the grass while Jay practiced!

So silly

Grassy hills are better than toys I guess

This is my handsome boy at Carrie and Blake's Wedding on Oct 4th.

The other two boys here are Blake's nephews. They didn't know each other before this but, by the way they played, they acted like they had known each other forever. They had a ball the whole weekend!

And here's the other handsome boy!  Four ring bearers and no flower girls!  Thank goodness we will have a girl in the mix soon!

Eli got hot and stripped....then took the spotlight on the dance floor!

Hanging out at the reception. It's still so fun to be at weddings with my hubby!

We left his lovies at Mimi's. She left them on the porch for us later that week. Eli was so happy to have them back!

Wes and I took a trip to the mountains with some friends and had so much fun!  Baby girl is poking out...I was about 25 weeks here.

On the way to Disney!  Eli couldn't wait. It was his first time.

Jay knows how this works...he fell asleep. Eli is asking me, "why aren't we at Disney world yet?"

I asked Wes to come up with a system for us to be located in case the boys got lost. He marked them with a skin marker from the OR.....not exactly what I had in mind!

Eli was proud though!

Animal Kingdom's safari ride!

Jay couldn't wait to get to the rides but Eli really wanted to see the animals. So Jay played along until this was over and then demanded to ride a roller coaster

Baby giraffe walking past our truck

Digging for bones. I didn't think we'd ever get Eli out!

It was a massive playground (this is the one we lost Jay in back when he was 3). It was time to go so Jay went to find Eli and was a proud big brother when he "rescued" him.

Afternoon naps...Jay was pouting...

Jay's 3D bug glasses

Eli and I waited on the bridge to wave to Wes and Jay on the rapids.

Jay was loving it!

Neither boy was concerned with meeting Mickey this time. Eli wanted to meet Goofy and Jay wanted Pluto. So it was perfect that we saw them both on the first day!

Trying to pose

Eli can't take his hands off Goofy!  It was so cute!

Donald was fun too!

Eli wanted to ride with Wes on every ride...I guess he feels safer with Daddy than Mom or Jay!

Trying to get Buzz Lightyear in a picture, Eli wouldn't be still

They loved the race cars too

This was on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Eli was scared so he stayed like this the entire ride...in the Haunted Mansion he buried his head in my stomach and didn't move until I said it was over. Even in Winnie the Pooh, because it was dark, he kept his eyes covered in Wes' lap the whole time. He would say, "I didn't like that, That was scary" after every dark ride.

Parade at Magic Kingdom

Jay was amazed that Peter Pan was there!

There is Eli watching Pluto

It made their day when Goofy came over to hug them!

Look at Eli's smile!

Waving to Mickey

Back to the rides

The boys were exploring Eyore's house

See Eli's face on Winnie the Pooh!  So scared!

More characters!

Eli's ran straight to Tigger like they were old pals!

And almost knocked him over!

Jay is tired of pictures (again!) This was on the ferry back from the Magic Kingdom

Playing on the "beach" area at the resort.

Trying to catch minnows

Dragging each other around in the sand

Here we are at the pool. We stayed all day swimming at the resort. They would have done this for a week straight if we had let them.

Jay went down this slides at least a hundred times!

so fun!

Stopped for a pose!

Eli loved being carried around by Dad the whole time

Eating doughnuts in the room during a break from the sun

Sprite...mmmm!

Still in the water.

They loved every minute of that day!

Hanging out with dad

Cheeze!

During another football game

I loved this because it's so rare that they hold hands in the car. Usually they are yelling and hitting. Jay looks mad but he was just relaxed.

Poking out more at 27 weeks

Halloween time!  jay wanted a mean and scary pumpkin

I wanted a pretty one

Cowboy and Soldier ready for trick or treating

I thought Eli was so cute!

Papa and Mama Ross came over with the Kubota to drive us around!

A few days later...typical 2 year old tantrum. Ahh!
I loaded these pictures weeks ago and am just now finishing them up. I have a ton more now, with the holiday fun. I guess this is my life now...always playing catch up!  Only 3 weeks until Baby girl arrives so I really should finish out the year in pictures before that!  We are all getting anxious to meet her. I am almost sure we are going to call her June, after my grandmother. Still working on her first name (June will probably be the middle). She is growing fast and I am getting bigger every day. In the next batch of pics I will have some good ones of my big belly!
