A month full of pictures! Eli bday video and playing ball

Papa's 63rd birthday dinner at Charles Seafood

Watching Eli's favorite show, Dinosaur Train. Anytime he sees a dinosaur now he says, "choo choo?" They go together in his mind.

We were putting up the Christmas decorations and the boys realized the fun of Styrofoam...

Making it snow in my living room

They had a ball and I figured this was as close as poor Jay would get to snow this year so we made a day of it

snow angels!  (sad, I know)

I am still finding tiny white "snow" all over the house...

Papa took us fishing over Thanksgiving weekend. We had a great time, all bundled up, of course

Carrie and Blake, Jay is pouting...he hit his limit a few minutes after this and bawled for half an hour until he passed out on my lap.

Wes and Uncle Larry fishing, Jay trying to see the bottom.

Eli had to look for fish too

Big yawn...he had a nice nap on the boat too...

Back at home, I gave him an apple to eat and he decided to cover it up and tell it, "nite-nite"

Trying to get a cute Christmas pic....

goofball

He kept the hat on for a minute

And now he's tired of this little "game" I like to play

Cheese!  There we go!

Reading about Cataract surgery....he is amazed!

"Daddy's work book!"

Waiting on the Christmas parade in downtown Tifton

Jay is anxiously waiting for the candy throwers

Waving at the floats

Eli found a sucker and is just relaxing with Daddy now

Running back for more

Jay beat him to it this time

Eli's birthday party!  He looked at us just like this the whole time we sang

He was not impressed

He did love blowing out the candle though

We had to light it again, even.

And this was his expression the whole time he opened presents. He is hard to please, apparently

"I'm not sure why all these people are in my house but I don't like it"

You know Jay had a ball though!

Here Eli is playing with his new pet fish....

Its a good thing it's plastic since a real one probably wouldn't survive in our house for long.

Telling Santa what he wants for Christmas. "A robot that transforms into a helicopter and flies up in the air and explodes."  This is what he told every Santa he met....We found a robot that shoots bullets out of his mouth and a remote-controlled helicopter...it the best we could do with such a steep request.

Eli was not getting any closer to Santa!  haha.

Playing in the firetruck outside

This is Eli saying, "cheese"

What a pair!

Playing on the wood at Lowes, our home away from home.

Working in the garage....you never know what kind of pose Jay will give!

Christmas at the Ross'!  Jay is demanding to know where his presents are!

playing with his new truck

Carrie and Blake, newly engaged!  Wedding date set for Oct 4th...we are so excited!  The other night during his prayers Jay said, "and thank you God for Uncle Blake and that he and Aunt Carrie are getting married."  He and Eli both adore him!  As do all of us!

Mouth full of popcorn...who needs presents when food is around?

Jay found his pile and is digging in!

Eli loves his singing donkey...

I love his cute dog hat!  He asks to put it on every time we leave the house now

Jay got some new boots!  Just what he wanted!

"Tractor!"

His wolf hat....he told Mama Ross several weeks ago that he wanted a "wolf hat with long things that come down to keep his hands warm"....she found exactly that!

yay for games to play on cold days!

soldier hat!

Firetruck jacket!

Reading the animal book with dad!

Jay was deflated when he thought only Eli got a soldier hat....now he's happy again!

Cuddling with Papa and Mama Ross

Jay with his Uncle Oren

"No mom, I don't want to take any more pictures!"

Helping Mama Ross with her gifts now

On the way home on Christmas Eve...they had a blast!

Christmas morning...Santa didn't forget about Jake!

A big fishing pole!

Eli spent most of the morning telling me "no!" when I'd ask him to open presents. I don't think he ever got into it but is loving the new toys now!

Merry Christmas!

I love this Santa suit Mom found for Eli!

'lights!"

I had a lapse in judgement and found this drum set for Eli....it is loud too!  See that smile though!

check out those moves

Now at Mimi's for Christmas!   Eli is tired and snuck the pacifier in....it is now only for sleepy time but it was a long day so I let him get away with it

overalls!

Showing Jay his new boat book!

I think my kids will have a complex about pictures when they get older....

playing at Aunt Gails with Judson and Ellie Grace

Christmas dinner at Uncle Cleveland and Aunt Gail's (Mom, Roger, Aunt Charlene, Granny Curry, Aunt Gail, and Wes)

Wes, Gwin, Callie, and Aunt Gina

Ashley showing Gracie her new present

Colton and Gailee

Josh trying to get all of the kids' presents opened...a chore in itself!

Mom, Kurt, and Clay

Eli is getting impatient

Gracie is eating the wrapping paper...

Cute family pic!  That Gracie knows what to do in front of a camera!!  And notice Ashley's baby bump?!  We are so excited about the new baby BOY coming in June!!!

Eli knows how to handle that thing!

Gracie's like, "uh? how did he make it go that fast?"

Ellie showing Jud how her new toy works

Granny Curry and all of her Great-Grands!

This one's better of everyone but Jay...pouting because he was tired of pictures

We found this old trunk in Papa Curtis' barn...mom gave us the wall art and antique tricycle for Christmas. We love how it all turned out!

Playing in boxes...this is their boat, which is where they had lunch that day.

Santa (and Mimi) brought a trampoline for the boys!! They love it.

Cutie pie showing me how he jumps

"hey Mama!"

Giving me a kiss

Here is Jay flying his helicopter

The Ross' gave us a landscape makeover for Christmas!  Wes and his dad debated how to pull up all the big bushes and move them to the other side of the yard. They decided the tractor was necessary for this job.

The boys were thrilled to see Papa's tractor in their yard!

jay was busy chopping wood

He was a man on a mission

"stop taking my picture, I have to work!!"

The men hard at work
Mama Ross and Jay cleaning the flower bed

Captain America made a house out of the box last night
