Jay avoided going under water at all costs. |

Now its Eli's turn |

He enjoyed it, to my surprise...he was smiling here. |

This is what happened after I left Jay to get his own snack while I fed Eli |
We had a short visit with Mimi last weekend and spent Saturday at Aunt Gail's swimming with cousins. Mom, Dad, Kurt, and I spent countless days at Uncle Cleveland and Aunt Gail's pool growing up. It was so much fun and, I now realize, our parent's strategic plan to wear us out so they could come home to peace. So many of my favorite childhood memories are the fun Josh, Clay, Kurt, and I always had swimming in this pool. It is such a blessing that our kids can enjoy the same thing together. They had the best time, as they always do when they're together, but this time it really felt like I was reliving those sweet memories again. And I can't wait until Eli is running around with all of them!
