We are now settled and are enjoying the last few weeks of vacation for Wes. Jay has adjusted to his new home with just mama and daddy. I can tell that he misses his papas, mimi, and mama ross though because he kept looking around for the first few days. It looked like he was thinking, "where is everyone else?" We have tried skype a few times but Jay just stares into the camera blankly. As he gets older, I know it will be a lot of fun for us and the grandparents.
Today Jay was sick with a runny nose and cough for the first time. :( It was pitiful watching him try to figure out why he didn't feel right. He was whiny all day and couldn't stop sneezing. We have been rubbing him with baby rub and bought a vaporizer (non-medicated) to plug in while he sleeps. Maybe it won't last long.
He also discovered his feet today! He was just curled up holding both of them in his hands and talking. Wes said he noticed him doing it earlier this afternoon also. I guess he will be pulling them to his mouth soon!
